Bear's Den at The Palisades Country Club
Bear’s Den is an upscale casual dining outlet that fuses the delicious taste of southern style cuisine with an exciting new technique of modern cooking. Executive Chef, Mike Pappas stated “Our food is a return to scratch cooking, and it shows on the plate.”
A few of the specialty dishes include a unique shrimp and grits that slightly spins the classic version with the addition of tomato confit and a Barnyard Sticky Whiskey Chicken dish that finds a comfortable home in the new casual space. Also incorporated into the menu are a myriad of intriguing appetizers such as mini crab cakes served with creole remoulade and our favorite, the spinach artichoke dip. With happy hour specials and plenty of dessert dishes to pair, the new menu at Bear’s Den will have you coming back for more.
Coinciding with the new menu, the restaurant space itself has a fresh new look. Executive Chef, Mike Pappas added “As a leadership team, we sought to create a space that was equally inviting on the plate and dining space; the various wood tones rhyme with the warmth of our fireplace and balance well with a few ounces of fine Bourbon. Exciting dining spaces are difficult to create; however, our team banded together and accomplished a unique space that will satisfy the palate and mind equally.”
